The result will always depend on other factors such as the standard of the building's associated walls, floors and ceilings. Likewise the interior furnishings will play a big part, soft materials such as carpets and drapes will reduce noise considerable. Consideration has to be given to the activities that will take place. For example, if equal noise is generated from both sides of the folding partition or movable wall, the level need not be as high as one side will off set the other. However, if one divided side were to be a reading room and the other a lecture room, then a higher performance will be recommended to satisfy the occupancy of the reading room. Pass doors and Wicket door options will slightly reduce the acoustic performance. Our dB values have been measured according to ISO 140 and Rw according to ISO 717 We are always pleased to provide test reports if required.
